Jensen Huang

Biography

Jensen Huang is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Nvidia. Born in Taiwan and raised largely in the United States, he studied electrical engineering at Oregon State and Stanford and worked at AMD and LSI Logic before founding Nvidia in 1993. He turned a graphics card maker into the supplier of the parallel computing platform underneath modern AI by investing in CUDA years before deep learning made general-purpose GPU computing commercially essential, a bet that left Nvidia dominant in AI chips. He has run the company for more than three decades, unusual longevity for a founder chief executive, and his public statements about data center demand and AI infrastructure spending routinely move sentiment across the sector.
