Biography

Marvell Technology is a United States semiconductor company that supplies data infrastructure silicon to cloud, networking and storage customers. Its portfolio centers on custom silicon design services and the building blocks that surround them, including high-speed SerDes interconnect, Ethernet switching chips, CXL memory controllers, storage controllers and silicon photonics for optical links inside and between data centers. Rather than selling a branded accelerator of its own, Marvell typically co-designs application-specific chips with hyperscale operators that want processors tuned to their own workloads, then supplies the intellectual property and manufacturing coordination around them. That business has grown as AI training and inference clusters push more pressure onto interconnect and memory rather than compute alone.
